Our guides help readers choose tools and plan their practice. Our comparisons are published by Al Minhaj’s developer, a relationship disclosed on every comparison.
Documentation-based comparisons, not independent rankings
We compare features described in the official websites, help centres and App Store listings we cite. We distinguish these facts from our assessment of which learners an app may suit. We do not claim to have benchmarked speech models, surveyed a user panel or tested every plan on every device.
Al Minhaj is our product. Every comparison discloses this relationship near the beginning. The order in which apps appear is not a quality ranking.
Our criteria
- Starting point: Arabic letters, existing reading ability or advanced hifz.
- Practice: reading, recall without text, hints and speech recognition.
- Review: recent passages, mistakes and revisiting older material.
- Constraints: platform, language, internet access, advertising and free-plan limits.
- Cost: free access or subscription, with a link to current official prices.
Sources and dates
Each article lists sources relevant to its factual claims. An update date means the text was revised, not merely rebuilt. Product details can change after verification; the provider’s purchase screen and terms are the reference for current offers.
Learning advice and limitations
Suggested routines are adaptable examples, with no universal timeline or guaranteed outcome. We do not present learning statistics, testimonials or ratings without evidence. Articles are not religious rulings, and we do not describe them as teacher-approved when qualified review has not taken place.
